President – Frank Horvat
Born in Ottawa in 1974, Frank Horvat is an award-winning and critically acclaimed composer and pianist. From performing in classical recitals to playing in rock bands, Frank maintains an active schedule of performances of his own compositions and the works of others in Canada and abroad. His portfolio of compositions consists of chamber, electronic, music theatre, film, and large ensemble works. His music has been featured on TV networks like the CBC & Bravo and a variety of radio stations around the world. Released in June 07, his debut recording, I’ll Be Good!, features thirteen original compositions for solo piano performed by Frank himself.
A graduate of the Faculty of Music at the University of Toronto and the Royal Conservatory of Music, Frank is also very active within the field of music education. He has maintained a very active teaching studio working with piano, theory, and composition students for many years. He is also active in conducting workshops and master classes. Frank is a proud member of the College of Theory Examiners for the Royal Conservatory of Music, the Ontario Registered Music Teachers' Association, and the Alliance of Canadian New Music Projects. He has recently started a new music program for students at the Karen Kain School of the Arts in Etobicoke.
Residing in Mimico with his wife, Frank is also passionate about social issues related to poverty and the environment.

Executive Secretary – Susan Nagy
Susan, a long time resident of the Lakeshore is a graphic designer by training, a graduate of Sheridan College and has worked in the culture sector for 31 years. Her passion for the arts and community combined with a dynamic management style has been instrumental in the growth of the organization. Susan ensures that arts development is always on every agenda and that it is recognized as a catalyst to drive and foster the local economy. She is a senior member of the LASO's (Local Art Service Organization) within the City and sits on the Mimico BIA’s executive. In 2004, she was bestowed with the LAMP Award of Merit in recognition for her contributions to the community and 2009, 10 and 11 received a Certificate of Recognition as a community partner at the local high school, Lakeshore Collegiate.
As Secretary of the Board she is responsible for the general management of the corporation’s day to day affairs subject to the direction of the Board of Directors, and does not have a vote as she receives remuneration for her services.
